Boy... When I moved to Ottawa, I knew it was supposed to be cold here. But honestly, I'm beginning to think that the Leafs might actually win the Stanley Cup this year... ... because with these sort of temperatures, Hell must have frozen over!
Today it is -29 degrees Celcius, though a human would interpret the temperature as -42 degrees (when you include the windchill factor).
My poor car is definitely not happy with me, it was not at all happy to start this morning and didn't want to warm up at all. My grandfather warned me last night that it was going to be cold, but I honestly didn't think it would be this bad. At times like this, I really wish I was back in Australia! Oh well, only a month or two left of winter...

I wish you were back in Australia too!!! Though, silly as it may be, I actually miss the snow and cold (I guess the grass is always greener...) But more than anything, I miss skating on the canal, walking through the city when it's snowing, and looking forward to summer!
