CHEO BBQ Tourney

Meg and I played in an ultimate tourney this past weekend, and while the weather was chilly and extremely windy we had a pretty good time. We were both exhausted by the end of the day that saw us play six one hour long games. We were guaranteed 3 or 4 games, but alas, our team finished first in our pool and then managed a nearly unbelievable win against a great team in the semis before succumbing to a very good highschool team in the finals.

It was as stated, a cold and windy day that saw no real sunshine and mostly cloudy skies... somehow we still both ended up getting sunburns. Craziness. Anyway, the Ottawa U folks we picked up with were very fun to both hang out and play with. We'll have to see what other tourneys we can pick up with this year and in years to come. :)
