Get Your Red Dot On!

By smithdm3 - Posted on 31 January 2008

Hmm, saw this Red Dot Campaign article via CBC come through my feedreader today, and figure that Meg and I should probably get this going on at home.

The red dot is a way of telling your Canada Post mail carrier that you would prefer not to receive unaddressed mail. You simply write a letter to Canada Post requesting this, and they'll place the red dot on your box to remind your mail carrier of your preference. You'll still get some unaddressed items - community newspapers, MP mailings, etc., but for the most part you won't get any flyers etc.

For more info check out the Red Dot Campaign.
