Jenn Is Wed

Well, my sister did it... two weekends ago, on July 29th, my sister was married. It was a fantastic day, my sister looked the part of the beautiful bride, and her now-husband, Darren had a smile on his face all day. I'm proud to welcome Darren into the family, and had the privilege of being one of his groomsmen.

The wedding was held at my sister's church, Holy Rosary in Belleville. Her choir (of which she is the youngest - by far I think - member) sang the hymns making it a beautiful ceremony.

My mother and Gene then hosted the reception in their backyard under a huge tent (Meg's got pictures and I'll link them when they're up). Dinner was served by a caterer (who actually got up and listed off the dishes at the mike before the buffet was opened), and some of my mother's patients tended the open bar (there was a great draft trailer that held four pony-keg's (2 Rickards, 2 Canadian) and kept all the beverages cool - very neat).

It was a great experience, and now, I alone am the only unwed sibling. Oh well, we'll get to that in the near future I'd imagine :)
